TRANSPORT
GETTING AROUND ITALY
Flights: Internal flights are really cheap to fly around Italy when booked in advanced, non peak season and through the week.
Trains: Run through all the main cities of Italy and a lot are direct.
Buses: Are good to use around the area
GETTING AROUND THE AMALFI COAST
Buses & water taxis: £10 a water taxi to get around to Amafi, Positano and Conca di Marini. Hop on a bus if its going to be more convent and is under 20-35 min ride, or if scooter ride or bus takes over 30 min, take the water taxi should only be 5 min.
Scooter: Don't get stuck in traffic as can go around buses with in traffic, more places to park, I don't think you have to pay for parking, best option. You can scooter when you want to scooter.
Car: Driving can be fun and easy to get around having your own car to jump into, but parking Is a nightmare, , your lucky to find one then you'll be up for £2.50-4 an hour while you park. Some beaches don't have car access , access by foot and no parking etc, there's also traffic getting stuck behind buses. Many hotels and air bnbs also don't have a place to park your car.
GETTING AROUND TUSCANY
Car: Definitely to experience Tuscany you want a car, to be driving around the vineyards, exploring and visiting the hot springs. When wine tasting organising a sober driver, spit the wine out (as if) organise a driver or tour.
